About a week after I applied I heard back from the Wonder recruiter. We setup an initial call for a few days later. The call went well. Even though I didn't check every box the recruiter and I both believed there was enough there to pursue things further. I was probably a 6-7/10. I applied in July and over a month later the company reached out to me to schedule an HR phone screen. It went ok and the recruiter wanted to setup a call with the hiring manager (VP of Planning) the following week. She also didn't know who the hiring manager was and when she found her name didn't know how to pronounce it. That was the first red flag. The role was a stretch, but not totally unfeasible. I would say i was a 7/10 match. Whatever gaps I think could easily be learned on the job. I was asked a lot of questions for an HR screen. Probably 10, and only 1 or 2 were actually about qualifications related to the position itself. The rest were very generic - where do you see yourself in 5 years, what motivates you, etc. Definitely didn't feel like the recruiter got a good sense of if I could actually do the job or…

Had initial phone screen which was pretty quick. Recruiter set me up with a 30 min interview with the hiring manager which went great. Then I was setup with a 30 min interview with the Heading of Planning. Her questions were very basic and generic, which threw me off.
