Common questions about accounts, writing reviews, anonymity, company responses, disputes, and moderation. For anything else, see our Review Guidelines or Privacy Policy.
Accounts
How do I sign in?
Choose “Continue with email,” enter your email address, and enter the one-time code we send you. There are no passwords to create or remember.
Do I need an account to read reviews?
No. Searching companies, reading published reviews, and viewing scores is open to everyone. You only need to sign in to write a review, like or comment, or manage your own reviews.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account settings and choose to delete your account. This disables future sign-in immediately. Published reviews you haven’t separately withdrawn may remain public, anonymously — see our Privacy Policy for why.
Writing Reviews
What should I write about?
Your own firsthand experience applying to and interviewing with a company: what happened, what you were told, how communication went, and the outcome.
How are reviews rated?
Six categories — Overall Experience, Communication, Transparency, Professionalism, Process Efficiency, and Follow-Through — each scored 1 to 10. No star ratings.
Can I write a review while I’m still interviewing?
Yes. Reviews marked “still in process” can be published, but they don’t count toward a company’s score until you update the outcome once your process concludes.
Can I edit or withdraw my review later?
Yes, at any time, from your account. Withdrawing a review removes it from public display and from company scores, but keeps an internal record.
Anonymity
Is my review really anonymous?
It’s anonymous to the public — shown as “Anonymous Candidate,” with no email, account ID, or IP address ever displayed. It isn’t anonymous to us internally (we need that to let you edit/withdraw it), and we can’t guarantee anonymity if you include identifying details in your own review text. See our Privacy Policy for the full explanation.
Can a company find out who wrote a review?
We never give companies a reviewer’s email, account ID, or IP address — including when they respond to or dispute a review. A company may occasionally infer who wrote a review from context, and we can’t prevent that, but we don’t facilitate it.
Company Responses
Can a company respond to a review about them?
A verified company representative can publish one public response per review to add context or clarify — they can’t edit or delete the review itself.
Can a company get a negative review removed just by disagreeing with it?
No. Disagreement alone is never grounds for removal. A company can privately dispute a review through moderation, but that’s a separate, private process — see “Disputes” below.
Disputes
What happens if a company disputes my review?
A dispute is a private moderation workflow — it’s never a public rebuttal, and filing one doesn’t mean your review is treated as false. If moderators need more information from you, they’ll ask before making any change.
Moderation
How do I report a review or comment?
Use the Report button on the review or comment and choose a reason. Your identity as the reporter is never made public.
Why was my review held or edited?
New reviews are automatically screened before publishing; if something looks like it may need a closer look (for example, possible private information or a personal attack), it’s held for a moderator rather than rejected outright. You’ll see a status and, where relevant, a message explaining what to change.
