Our mission

Companies evaluate candidates. Candidates should be able to evaluate companies’ hiring processes.

This site is a public candidate-experience review platform where job seekers can research how companies actually treat applicants during hiring — not just what a job posting or careers page claims.

What this site does

You can search for a company, read reviews from other candidates, and see an aggregate candidate-experience score built from six categories: Overall Experience, Communication, Transparency, Professionalism, Process Efficiency, and Follow-Through. Scores are numeric, from 1 to 10 — we don’t use star ratings anywhere. Registered users can anonymously publish factual accounts of their own application and interview experiences.

Candidate accountability

Reviews should describe what actually happened: what a candidate was told, what occurred afterward, how communication went, and how the process concluded. We ask reviewers to describe observable events rather than assign motive or character — “I was told I’d hear back by Friday and never did” rather than a personal judgment about the person involved. See our Review Guidelines for the full detail.

Employer accountability

The company is the primary entity being reviewed. Companies may claim their profile and publish a public response to a review, but a response can never edit or remove the underlying review, and a company’s disagreement with a review is not by itself grounds for its removal. We don’t build individual recruiter ratings, scores, or leaderboards — named professional contacts may be mentioned when directly relevant to a hiring interaction, but they are not the subject of the review system.

Anonymity

Reviews are published anonymously to the public, displayed as Anonymous Candidate. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what that does and doesn’t mean.

Why this exists

Candidates rarely have visibility into how a company actually runs its hiring process until they’re already in it — whether communication is consistent, whether promised follow-ups happen, whether the role matches what was posted. The goal here is transparency and accountability around recruiting behavior, not a venue for personal grievance, harassment, or retaliation.
