Experience
Had initial phone screen which was pretty quick. Recruiter set me up with a 30 min interview with the hiring manager which went great. Then I was setup with a 30 min interview with the Heading of Planning. Her questions were very basic and generic, which threw me off. In a response to a comment she made about the company's effort to maintain brand image, I noted that I had observed that while visiting an Outlet store near me. Despite it being an outlet, it still felt like an elevated experience consistent with the Ralph Lauren full price stores. After I told her what my experience was like, she asked me to tell her about my experience. I just did lol. Maybe she was looking for more details, but I didn't work for the company when I went there, so I obviously didn't take any notes or treat it like a corporate store visit, and it was a long time ago. Overall the interview felt very lukewarm. She mentioned at the end that they were still waiting to schedule a couple other candidates but I would be hearing from them. I never heard back from them lol.
